- The Presidency has reacted to news that the president is on his way back to the country - There was rumour recently that the president was getting set to return to the country - The media aide said the president will inform Nigerians when the time comes to return Bashir Ahmad, personal assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, has debunked rumours that the president is on his way back from London. The Presidential aide made this known on his Facebook page recently. According to him, the president will return soon and he would inform Nigerians properly when the time comes. He said: "Like many of you, I also read that news about President Muhammadu Buhari's return on Social Media platforms and many blogs. "It's all rumors, President Buhari hasn't returned to the country yet, but he will very soon return and continue the good work he has been doing.
