Wike, Ibori storm Asaba, commission projects

ASABA—GOVERNOR Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and former Governor James Ibori of Delta State, yesterday,  commissioned and inspected some projects executed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in Asaba Delta State.

Some of the projects inspected and commissioned include, the storm drainage project which will channel flood waters from the Direct Labour Road, Jesus Saves Road and others to the River Niger, the Cable Point dual carriage way and Madonna School/Joseph Ebolo Roads in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.

Wike, Ibori and other top politicians were taken round the projects by Governor Okowa.

Speaking during the commissioning and inspection ceremony, Wike described Governor Okowa as a performer, a promise keeper and dependable personality.

He said,  “I identify myself with people who have something to show.  I want to thank Governor Okowa who invited me to commission this project.  I know Governor Okowa is doing very well, when you make a promise, fulfil it, Okowa has fulfilled his promises to Deltans.”ALSO READ MORE HERE
